My Total Force numbers way seem inaccurateUpdated a month ago

There could be a couple of reasons for this, so we have a few different suggestions for getting things back on track.

At the start of each exercise, check your Force readings while the bar is at rest and there is no load. The bar should be re-tared if they are less than -10 or more than 10.

To do re-tare, go into settings and select "Trigger Tare." As you did earlier, set it upright on the hooks on a flat/even surface like a tabletop before hitting the "calibrate" button.

Once the bar is re-tared, you'll need to go back into the settings menu and "reset all calibrations."

When you're calibrating for each exercise, there are a couple of important details to remember:

  1. Make sure you're using the original X3 White Band. Do not use the X3 Performance (ParaForce) Bands, or any other colored band.
  2. Do not use band shorteners or any other method of shortening the bands
  3. Ensure that no part of your body presses against the hooks during the calibration process (or your workouts, for that matter). Be extra careful to avoid pressing the hooks when doing the X3 Overhead Press.

If you're still having issues, please contact us so we can help you record your X3 workouts accurately.
