When do I use "mark as inaccurate?"Updated a month ago

The app algorithm is set to record full reps with some wiggle room for user variation. This means that if you perform partials that are most of a full rep, they will likely be recorded as a rep. When partials are recorded as a rep, there is no need to "mark as inaccurate."

That said, to filter out noise that occurs during setup, very minimal changes in force will not be recognized as a rep, so if your partials are getting to be less than half of the Range of Motion of a full rep, I would not expect those to register on the app, and if they don't there's no need to mark that as inaccurate either.

However, if you want to record that data for your personal use, you can use the notes feature to note how many partials you performed that were not counted by the app.

For now, the "mark as inaccurate" should be used if either:

A) the app did not count all of the full-range reps you performed, or

B) the app recorded more reps than you actually performed.

Reporting these inaccuracies will help our machine learning to improve the rep-counting algorithm over time!
