Why do I need the original X3 White Band to calibrate the X3 Force?Updated a month ago

During the calibration process, you're expected to use only the original X3 White Band that comes with the X3 – not the white Performance (Paraforce) band – so that the app can compare the raw load sensor data with the amount of force that this band is estimated to produce when used by someone of that height. The app then calibrates itself based on that comparison.

After that initial setup, the bar and app actually display the load sensor data, calibrated based on your bar setup.

Once you have calibrated the bar correctly with the standard white band, you will get an accurate, live readout based on the load sensor's actual outputs for any band you use thereafter. The app is set up for use with the X3 Performance (ParaForce) Bands!
